BASTIEN JOURDE

The authentic Montrealer in the group. He and Martin have held the reins at TACTIX since its beginnings in 2004. Jet lag specialist, he’s the man of the game for frequent trips to Asian manufacturing centers. With a degree in industrial design from Université de Montréal (1997), Bastien is a pencil-maniac and a skilled sculptor of original works in foam and duct tape. But above all he’s a hockey grinder, who worked for ITECH for 3 years, and then as a sporting goods freelance designer from 2000 and 2004.

MARTIN LABERGE

A proud Quebecer with deep rural roots. He and Bastien defined the TACTIX concept in 2004. He infuses the company with his visceral knowledge of outdoor and urban culture. Also an industrial design graduate of Université de Montréal (1997), a vector guru and expert sketch artist on vellum. He’s an experienced cyclist and no stranger to road rash, having dedicated 8 years of his life to the pursuit of high mountains, fresh air and outdoor footwear while with SALOMON.

Graduating from the University of Western Sydney's Industrial Design program in 2012 majoring in Interactive and Industrial graphics, he travelled as far as Montreal where he fell in love with the city, its people and fascinating blend of culture. A fluent drummer, die hard Habs fan and 3D sculpting professional with a passion for the workshop and the interactive.
